YellowBlock is a cheese and charcuterie retailer with a strong gifting proposition. They came to us with an outdated Shopify setup that didn't reflect the quality of their product or brand. The site wasn't built to support the gifting experience their customers expected - no scheduled deliveries, no gift messaging, and missed opportunities for cross-sells and upsells.
With strong brand assets already in place, this was about building the right experience around them. The priority was a bespoke gifting flow that made the entire journey feel considered and personal, while giving the production team tools to manage fulfilment at scale.
We redesigned and rebuilt the site with scale in mind, introducing subtle new elements including a wavy "cheese pull" divider. Product pages were enhanced with "What's Included" breakdowns, and educational cheese content was refactored into a standardised, maintainable system.
The gifting flow was built as a bespoke checkout experience - customers can schedule delivery dates and add personalised gift messaging. All gifting data syncs into a custom production calendar, giving the kitchen full visibility over fulfilment and the ability to block days when capacity is reached.
Since launching in December 2025, YellowBlock has seen significant growth in both sales and order volume. Organic sales are up substantially with a notable increase in average order value, demonstrating that the site is converting better and customers are spending more per order.
